EAB News 2007-05-17: EAB prepares for European Day of Languages

European Day of Languages

The European Day of Languages is a Council of Europe initiative held annually on 26th September each year to celebrate language culture and diversity.

The day aims:

These aims neatly mirror those of EAB. The Education wing of EAB is therefore organising a project - "Parrot Talk" - to link as many schools, children and adult groups as possible to local Esperantists who are theoretically willing to give a short talk or presentation on or around that day - a Wednesday, this year.

If you are an Esperantist who is prepared to take part, or if you represent a school or local group which would like to host such a talk, please contact us.
